Welcome to the GSDC of SA web site.
The German Shepherd Dog Club of San Antonio has been actively promoting the welfare of the German Shepherd Dogs since 1958. Our goal is the education of our members, and to promote public awareness of the GSD's conspicuous abilities as a companion dog, a search and rescue dog, a guide dog to the blind, police dog, a drug and explosive detection dog, and a loving and protective family dog. We as a club are equally interested in all aspects of the GSD, including conformation, obedience, and performance venues. On a local level, members of our club and their dogs have provided community services through visitation to hospitals and schools, as well as offering K-9 education, and training programs. Our meetings provide numerous educational opportunities for anyone interested in the German Shepherd Dog. Our club also offers wonderful social opportunities for people who love the GSD and would like to meet others who share the same interest. If you are interested go to the "Join Our Club" page.
